We caught Imran Khan Test driving a BMW M3 (blue in color) yesterday dated 21st December, 2008 at Lokhandwala, Andheri-(W).

Our eyes caught him when a lot of people gathered around when he was leaving the premises of Axis bank in Lokhandwala. We were confirmed when dozens of young girls went crazy seeing him and were shouting ‘Imran Imran' on top of their voice.

Imran had a lot of security guys near him. There was even a BMW X5 (black in color) waiting next to the BMW M3.

It should be recalled that Aamir Khan had gifted Imran a BMW 3 series (black in color) after having a tremendous response for his debut flick, Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na.

As we all know that BMW 3 series is very common in Mumbai, and also looking at Imran's performance as well as his demand rate, it seems like Imran was not much happy with his 3 series.

The new BMW M3 is well-known to us and to you, now that you're digesting our fourth—fourth! When will your letters pleading for more ever end?—comparison test of the M3 in 15 months. Like a solid Hollywood franchise, BMW's ranking joy toy and its 414-hp V-8 fusillade have us churning out endless popcorn sequels. The M3's lineup includes a sedan and a convertible, plus a coupe. Our coupe, base price $59,625, has silver-blue paint over rust-colored leather, with $13,895 in options. Almost all the boxes were checked, including the Premium, Technology, and Cold-Weather packs, plus the new $2900 “M double-clutch transmission with Drivelogic," a $10 way of saying paddle-shifted seven-speed with programmable shift maps.

We've seen the M3 dispatch a Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG and an Audi RS 4, a Lexus IS F, and the stupendous Nissan GT-R.

The reason I went was because we at Kinetic Motorsports had our new BMW M3 V8 displayed in the Cobalt Friction booth. The car was well received with a lot of attention since it's the first E92 V8 built for the KONI Sports Car Challenge. In addition, our Kinetic crew did an outstanding job focusing on every little detail with this car. If you are a race fan, this car gives you the same feeling as if you were going out on your first date with that perfect hot babe you always dreamed about...imagine that from a race car!

Now, on to a concern of mine. I am concerned that race teams out there will be struggling in the years to come if we don't try to cut down some of the cost associated with racing. As a driver for Krohn Racing in the Rolex series and a team owner for Kinetic Motorsports in the KONI Sports Car Challenge, I think it's important that we as a group try to understand how we can keep as many teams and sponsors racing in our sport.
